ISRO Project Director, Horizontal Sliding Door (HSD) and Folding Platform (FP) Projects, Sri Venkatraman, is on visit to HEC. He along with Dy Project Director, Sri Murlidharan visited HMBP on 08.03.22 and saw the progress of Wheel Bogie Assembly being manufactured for ISRO, which is the last dispatch for the Project. He was satisfied to see its progress but requested to expedite. ISRO has posted a team of two engineers at HEC to coordinate and for quality checks. HEC is working hard to complete the wheel bogie dispatch in March 2022.
During his visit to HMBP, Sri Venkatraman was impressed to see the facilities and said that HEC has tremendous potential and a great role in Aatmanirbhar Bharat. Erection of HSD and FP at Sriharikota ISRO site is in advance stage and likely to be completed by March 2022.
ISRO Project Director met HEC Directors on 09.03.22 and expressed his satisfaction and concern for the last few items. They expressed that ISRO is happy to make early payments to HEC against their bills. HEC Directors presented bouquets and shawls to Project and Dy Directors of ISRO. The Project Director in turn presented mementos to all the Directors and CVO of HEC.
HEC and ISRO had good discussions on future Projects and expressed their willingness to work together. The meeting was very successful and opened new opportunities for both the organizations.
