Heavy Engineering Corporation Ltd. (HEC) celebrated its 63rd "HEC Day" - the day this organization was dedicated to the nation.
HEC Day was magnificently celebrated with a number of events. The highlights of the programme were - "March for Make in India" from HEC Ground at Check Post to Nehru Park, Friendship Avenue followed by a cultural programme, paying tribute to the founder of the corporation, presentations to aged ex-employees and address by CMD, Shri Avijit Ghosh.
He highlighted the achievements of the Corporation, also commending the HEC team for their contributions. He emphasised that the need of the hour is to develop stronger in-house capabilities, as the Corporation would be called upon to play an increasingly significant role in strategic sectors in days to come.
