The award was received by Shri Avijit Ghosh, CMD, HEC accompanied by Shri Kushal Saha, Director (Production), HEC. The prestigious award was presented by Shri K V Chowdhary, Central Vigilance Commissioner in the presence of Shri Ameising Luikham, Secretary, Department of Public Enterprise; Shri R G Rajan, Chairman, SCOPE & CMD, Rashtriya Chemical Fertilizers; Ms Veena Swarup, Director(HR), EIL & HR Summit-2016 Convenor; Dr. U.D Choubey, Director General, SCOPE and other dignitaries.
The title of the HEC’s case was "Throw joined fists up and few pains back". The case was based on the newly adopted practice of having two shifts of 12-hours per workday in a week of 4 workdays for maintaining continuous production adhering to stringent quality standards by subjecting extra HR facilities handy at the shopfloor. The case was analysed and was represented by Shri Ramjee, Senior Manager(HR) I/C P&A, FFP,HEC.
