P.G. Crusher has been dispatched for supply to Larsen & Toubro (L&T). The equipment to be installed in Northern Coalfield Limited (N.C.L.) (Block-B Project). Earmarking this achievement, a flagging off ceremony was organized. Shri Avijit Ghosh, CMD, HEC flagged off the equipment. Shri Kushal Saha, Director (Production), Shri S K Pattanayak, Director (Finance) and senior officials of HEC as well as L&T were also present during the occasion.
The Primary Gyratory Crusher is of extra heavy duty type and robust in construction and has all necessary technical features to suit the envisaged duty conditions and performance parameters. It weighs around 450 Ton and was priced at approx. Rs. 18 Crores.
As a technological advancement, HEC has introduced integrated hydraulic system with cylinder, for raising and lowering of crushing head to suit output product size requirement. In earlier supplied Primary Gyratory Crushers, positioning of Crushing head was done manually.
HEC is the only indigenous manufacturer of this capacity of Primary Gyratory Crusher (P.G.C.) and has been manufacturing this equipment since 1976. HEC has manufactured & supplied 11 Nos. of PG Crusher of this capacity till date to different mineral processing industries in India. The last PGC was also supplied to L&T for NCL, Amlohri Project in 2012. Despatch of this PG Crusher shall prospectively give way for further orders from L&T.
